Τόν ῥα νέον τέρεν ἄνθος ἔχοντ᾽ ἐρικυδέος ἥβης παῖδ᾽ ἀταλὰ φρονέοντα φιλομμειδὴς Ἀφροδίτη ὦρτ᾽ ἀναρεψαμένη, καί μιν ζαθέοις ἐνὶ νηοῖς 990 νηοπόλον νύχιον ποιήσατο, δαίμονα δῖον.
Κούρην δ᾽ Αἰήταο διοτρεφέος βασιλῆος Αἰσονίδης βουλῇσι θεῶν αἰειγενετάων ἦγε παρ᾽ Αἰήτεω, τελέσας στονόεντας ἀέθλους, τοὺς πολλοὺς ἐπέτελλε μέγας βασιλεὺς ὑπερήνωρ, 995 ὑβριστὴς Πελίης καὶ ἀτάσθαλος, ὀβριμοεργός.
