Collective Psychic Field

A collective psychic entity or force generated by a group of people's shared emotional and ritual life — a religious community's corporate mind — which persists and can be disturbed or 'let loose' independently of any single member, producing effects (hauntings, disturbances, curses) at the group's former site long after the community itself has dispersed. Distinct from secret_societies (the organized institution itself, not the psychic field it generates) and artificial_elemental (a single operator's deliberate individual creation, not an unintentional collective byproduct).
